WAV to OGG
Turn large WAV files into much smaller OGG Vorbis files for games, game engines, apps and websites. The conversion runs on your own device with the reference Vorbis encoder.
How to use it
- Choose the OGG quality. The default suits most uses.
- Choose your WAV files, or drag them onto the box.
- Download each OGG file, or all of them together as a ZIP file.
How much smaller?
At the default setting an OGG file is usually around a tenth of the size of the WAV, with little or no difference you would hear. The sample rate of the original is kept. Surround-sound files are mixed down to stereo.
Which kind of OGG?
The files made here are OGG Vorbis, made with the reference encoder from the Xiph.Org Foundation. They play in any program that plays OGG, including game engines, Android phones, VLC and every current web browser.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The work happens inside your web browser, on your own device. Before your file is opened, this page locks itself: from then on your browser refuses to let it fetch, upload or send anything at all.
