WAV to FLAC

How to use it

Nothing is lost
FLAC is lossless: played back, the FLAC gives exactly the same samples as the WAV. The sample rate is kept, and 24-bit recordings stay 24-bit. The files are made with the reference FLAC encoder from the Xiph.Org Foundation, running inside your browser.
Good to know
32-bit floating-point WAV files, which some recording programs make, are saved as 24-bit FLAC, which is more detail than any playback equipment can reproduce. FLAC files keep surround sound as it is, up to eight channels.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The work happens inside your web browser, on your own device. Before your file is opened, this page locks itself: from then on your browser refuses to let it fetch, upload or send anything at all.
