MP3 to OGG

Which kind of OGG?
The files made here are OGG Vorbis, the kind almost everyone means by an OGG file. They are made with the reference Vorbis encoder from the Xiph.Org Foundation, running inside your browser, and they play in any program that plays OGG, including games, Android phones, VLC and every current web browser.
A note on quality
MP3 and OGG are both compressed formats, and each compression throws a little detail away. Converting one to the other therefore loses a little more, although at the default setting it is rarely audible. If you have the original recording as WAV or FLAC, convert that instead with WAV to OGG.
Questions
Will the OGG be smaller than the MP3?
At the default setting it is usually about the same size or a little smaller. Choose Smaller for a noticeably smaller file.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The work happens inside your web browser, on your own device. Before your file is opened, this page locks itself: from then on your browser refuses to let it fetch, upload or send anything at all.
