AAC to MP3
AAC files come from recorders, radio streams, phones and video editors, and some players and cars will not play them. Convert them to MP3 here, as many as you like, on your own device.
How to use it
- Choose the MP3 quality.
- Choose your AAC files, or drag them onto the box.
- Download each MP3, or all of them together as a ZIP file.
AAC and M4A
AAC is the sound format; files ending in .aac hold it on its own, and files ending in .m4a hold it inside a container. Both convert here. MP3 is older and a little less efficient, but it plays on almost everything.
A note on quality
AAC and MP3 are both compressed formats, so converting one to the other loses a little more detail. At 192 kbps or above this is rarely audible.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The work happens inside your web browser, on your own device.
