JPG or PNG?
A JPG has no see-through areas, so any transparent parts of the drawing become white. For a logo that needs a see-through background, use SVG to PNG instead. JPG suits drawings with lots of colour and shading, and pictures going into documents.
Choosing the size
You choose how large the JPG should be: the drawing's own size, twice or four times as large, or a width you type. The drawing is drawn afresh at that size, so edges stay crisp. If an SVG gives no size, the browser standard of 300 by 150 pixels is used, and the result says so.
When the result can differ from the original
Pictures, fonts or style sheets that an SVG fetches from the internet are left out, because this page never fetches anything, and web page content inside an SVG cannot be turned into a picture by any browser. The result tells you when either has happened. Text in a font your device does not have is drawn in a similar font. The SVG is only ever drawn as a picture, so any script inside it is never run.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The work happens inside your web browser, on your own device. Before your file is opened, this page locks itself: from then on your browser refuses to let it fetch, upload or send anything at all.
