What kind of signature this is
This adds a visible electronic signature: a picture of your signature, placed on the document, with the date if you choose. For many everyday documents, such as a letter of authority or a signed form, that is exactly what is wanted.
It is not a certificate-backed digital signature. It does not prove who signed, and it does not lock the document against changes. Some documents need more, for example where a particular type of signature is required by law or by the other party. If in doubt, ask whoever asked you to sign.
Your signature stays with you
Typical signing websites upload both the document and your signature. Here neither leaves your device. Nothing is saved: when you close the page, your signature is gone.

Can I sign on a phone?
Yes. Draw with your finger in the signature box, then tap the page where it should go.
Can I sign more than one place?
Sign and save once, then use Keep going with this file to open the signed copy and sign again.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The work happens inside your web browser, on your own device. Before your file is opened, this page locks itself: from then on your browser refuses to let it fetch, upload or send anything at all. You can check: once the page has loaded, switch off your internet connection and it will still work. How the lock works.
