BMP to JPG
BMP files are large and many websites will not take them. Turn them into ordinary JPGs, usually a small fraction of the size, as many as you like at once, on your own device.

What is a BMP file?
BMP is an old Windows picture format that stores every pixel with little or no compression, so the files are very large. A photograph saved as a JPG is usually a small fraction of the size, with no difference you would notice on screen.
How it works
Your browser opens the BMP itself and saves it as a JPG, all on your device. For the rare BMP files a browser cannot open, the page uses ImageMagick, the well-known picture program, running inside your browser; it is about 5 MB and downloaded only if needed. JPG has no see-through areas, so any transparent parts become white.

Are my files uploaded?
No. The work happens inside your web browser, on your own device. Before your file is opened, this page locks itself: from then on your browser refuses to let it fetch, upload or send anything at all.
