Page size and margins
A4 is the standard paper size in the United Kingdom and most of the world; US Letter is the North American equivalent. Each picture is fitted to the page without being stretched. Same as each image makes every page exactly the shape of its picture, with no margin.
With Match each image, wide pictures get landscape pages and tall pictures get portrait pages.
Other picture types
PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, GIF and BMP pictures work too. JPG and PNG files are normally placed in the PDF exactly as they are. Other types, and phone photos stored on their side, are saved as high-quality JPG first so that they appear the right way up.
Questions
Can I make a PDF from iPhone photos?
Yes. HEIC photos from an iPhone are converted as they are added, so there is no need to convert them first.
Are my files uploaded?
No. The work happens inside your web browser, on your own device. You can check: once this page has loaded, switch off your internet connection and it will still work. The page also tells your browser to refuse to load anything from, or send anything to, any other website, so nothing can be sent elsewhere even by accident.
